Well Auto Expo every year has something or the other quite interesting. This time for the first time Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was showcased which is the MPV of Maruti Suzuki. Maruti has launched Ertiga with the motive to target the middle upper class category of people who usually go for MPV’s that are similar to cars like Mahindra Xylo, Tata Aria, Toyota Innova and other MPV’s in it’s class.

Ertiga has 1372 cc k series engine which gives the maximum power of 94 Bhp and torque of 130 Nm. Unlike for diesel which has 1.3 diesel engine which has the capacity to generate a maximum power of 88 Bhp which is almost 12 Bhp less than it’s petrol variant.
Highlighting features in Ertiga
As it is available in 6 variants the cost and safety features will be additional in the costlier variant. So the dual “SRS airbags”, “anti locking braking system” and “electronic brake distribution” is available in the highest model of Ertiga.
Six colors in Ertiga
Ertiga will definitely find the niche with the common man and will be launched in six different colours. The following are the colours in which the Ertiga will be launched torque blue, arctic white, midnight black, blazing red, silky silver, glistening grey.

As the tagline says it all “A feeling called LUV” Ertiga has usual features like Power windows, center locking, remote fuel filter, folding rear seats, streeing adjustments, same body colour bumpers in the base model.
In the high end model I mentioned about the presence of EBD, ABS and SRS airbags apart from the usual features.

The overall package is quite impressive and starts from 7 lakh and goes upwards to 9 lakhs.
